Externally this includes the built-up stainless steel logo, which has enamel detailing tothe face and Halo LED illumination.
The internal directory signage has the floor level numeral cut-out, displaying the substrate behind. The informational text is screen-printed, a durable finish that is easily maintained. Free-standing totem signs with annotated Map plans are also used to aid navigation throughout the building.
Simple yet effective graphical shapes are also used as part of the wayfinding strategy, these are achieved by means of large scale vinyl Supergraphics.
A truly distinctive feature is the bespoke donor wall in the main entrance lobby, which has been achieved using brushed stainless steel bars in a variety of sizes.
“Ascot’s professional and friendly approach in design and client meetings ensured that preparation of design work was efficient and in line with cost constraints on the project. With previous experience of health care projects they were aware of specific considerations such as infection control, legibility, colour contrast and font choice. The finished product is high quality and arrived on site on time and as per the client's requirements. Ascot provide a first class service which I would be very happy to use again in the future.”
